Selection and Harvesting of Plants

The quality of the final essential oil product depends greatly on the quality of the original plant, particularly its aromatic properties, and the optimal harvest time.

Distillation

This is the key stage in essential oil production. The plants are placed in a still and subjected to steam. The volatile aromatic molecules are carried away by the steam and then condensed in a cooled condenser.

Decantation / Separation

Since essential oil is hydrophobic, it naturally separates from floral water. This process results in two distinct products: a volume of essential oil and a volume of hydrosol (floral water).

Filtration

The essential oil is then filtered to remove any remaining impurities.

Packaging

Essential oils are stored in specially designed packaging to protect them from heat and light, ensuring the preservation of their organoleptic and physico-chemical properties.
